Hi, guys.  :)  I'd really appreciate it if a few people wouldn't mind glancing over my SoP (with all pertinent names removed, of course).  I've got my MA and am applying to PhD film studies programs (most of which are housed in English or Communications departments.)  Again, I'd really appreciate any comments.

I'm kind of a late bloomer. Last year, when I was already a senior, I declared a second major in radio/television/film critical studies. I'm taking an extra year of undergrad to finish that up, and expect to graduate in the spring.
